"WELCOME TO KUTCH, RANN UTSAV"
Rann Utsav is an awesome festival of Kutch, Gujarat, India. It is a Carnival of Music, Dance, nature beauty of White Rann and much more then that when visit under the full Moon. Kutch Rann Utsav is the shimmering landscape that gives the enchanting moments of this Fest, which feels like as Heaven On Earth during Festival Time. In fact, it’s a Family holiday destination to explore fun moments and store in cameras for life time.
Kutch or Rannutsav, a unique manifestation of varied cultural ethos of the region is known for the ethnic flavor and celebrative zest. This festival provides an exclusive opportunity to witness the creative ingenuity of the artisans and craftspeople, assorted array of folk music and performances, mixed representation of culture and communities, along with a vast diversity in ecology. All this and much more describe and define Kutch and the people.
Arrival at Tent City, Dhordo from Bhuj - 10:00 AM Onwards

05:00 PM to 05:30 PM - Transfer to The White Rann to witness the grandeur of sunset. Mode of transfer can be through Camel Cart / Bus on first come, first serve basis. Guests will have to return by the same mode of transfer.

Made of marble, intricate carvings adorn the pillars and ceiling of the most expensive temple built in the state of Gujarat recently.

(Approx. time 30 min)
A visit to the Kutch Museum, to learn about the history of tribal and folk tradition of the district, will help you get to know about present-day people and their lives. Remember that visiting a museum is a great way to learn about history, but tribals are not merely part of history, they are a major part of Kutch's (and India's) population and cultural identity today.
(Kutch museum remains closed on Wednesday).

(Approx. time 40 min)
The handicraft village Hiralaxmi Craft Park – a vision to reserve, restore and promote the art and craft of Kutch and make them accessible to the public.
The handicraft village is where live artisans can be seen working.
The cost of entry (if any) will be borne by the guest.
In case guests have to reach Railway Station / Airport / Bus Stand earlier for their onward journey, they will have to arrange it on their own. Time of any such departure should be notified at the reception at the time of check-in.

Kutch Mandvi is an important beach famous among travellers for peace and solitude. Mandvi has beautiful white sand, serene locales and enchanting sunset views. Dist. from Tent City is approx. 140 kms one way.
11:30 AM to 12:30 PM - Visit Shyamji Krishna Varma Memorial
Shyamji Krishna Varma was born on 4th October 1857 in the Mandvi Town of Kutch District of Gujarat. He was one of the foremost freedom fighters in the history of freedom movement of India. The memorial’s objective is to pay tribute to the contribution of Shyamji Krishna Varma and also to educate the young generation about those great Indians who sacrificed everything for the country’s freedom.

The great palace of Mandvi was built in 1929 by his highness Maharao Vijay Singhji, The Maharao of Kutch, as a summer resort. This palace has a domed terrace that gives a panoramic view of the sea. It has interiors made like offices where the king used to work.

This beach is regarded as one of the finest beaches on Gujarat shoreline. A great family spot to spend a quality time where you can swim and enjoy a nice view of the coastline.

Visit to White Ran on Day 1; visit to Mandvi on Day 2 and visit to Kala Dungar on Day 3 in 3 Night/4 Days package whereas Visit to White Ran on Day 1 and Visit to Kala Dungar on Day 2 in 2 Night/3 Days package are fixed & cannot be inter-changed. Guest who have missed the visit as per Itinerary may be included on request on a chargeable basis.
7. Accommodation in Tent is on twin sharing basis.
8. Two bottles of drinking water per day per tent will be provided.
Transfers from Bhuj to Tent City, Dhordo on fixed timings:
08:15 AM - From Railway Station, Bhuj and Airport, Bhuj
10:30 AM - From Railway Station, Bhuj
02:30 PM - From Railway Station, Bhuj
03:30 PM - From Airport, Bhuj
Individual transfer on request (on chargeable basis). No transfers will be available after above timings.
Allotment of tent to guest arriving before check-in time will be subject to availability.
Distance from Bhuj to Tent City, Dhordo is approx. 85 km, which takes about 1 hr 45 min.
Complimentary refreshments will be served en route Dhordo in the bus.
50% retention charges, if cancelled more than 20 days prior to scheduled arrival (but less than 45 days).
100% retention charges, if cancelled less than 20 days prior to scheduled arrival.
Change in guest / guests names would be treated as Cancellation.
