The legendary guitarist and currently the hottest on the world music scene Guthrie Govan is on a world tour and will be making a stop in India. You do not want to sit this one out. Having worked with bands like The Aristocrats, The Fellowship, The Young Punx and his solo project Erotic Cake he is now collaborating with Hans Zimmer on his India tour. It’s going to be one hell of a night when you know two legendary musicians will be sharing the same stage.


On his second tour in India Guthrie Govan will play alongside Gino Banks and Mohini Dey. This ensemble will be playing some rock, some jazz and some fusion to which you can lose your complete self. With Guthrie Govan on the guitar, Mohini Dey on bass and Gino Banks on drums the audience is in for some real musical feat. He is more than excited to be playing in India, he believes that the country takes their music really seriously and how people have this raw energy that just escalates the overall experiences for him.

Gino Banks has been playing the drums since he was 8 years old and took it up seriously at the age of 15. His versatility leads him to perform and record with artists and bands of all types of genres. He has performed with artists like his father Louiz Banks, Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia. He has also collaborated in Bollywood sessions and has done gigs with ShankarEhsaan-Loy, Salim-Sulaiman, Vishal-Shekhar, Pritam. His expertise also extended to fusion groups SILK, Yuva, Niladri Kumar’s Sitar Funk, Rakesh Chaurasia, Amaan & Ayaan Ali Khan and Bala Bashkar and rock bands like Helga's Fun Castle, Gary Lawyer, Skinny Alley, Joe Alvares and Zero.


Mohini Dey daughter of bass player Sujoy Dey has been described as prodigy by many acclaimed musicians. Mohini dey has been already making waves in music. She started learning bass guitar at the tender age of 3 and never looked back since having worked with people like Ranjit Barot, AR Rehman and Steve Vai.
