Imaginary Lands: The World of the Tarot
Since the middle of the 18th century, Tarot cards have fascinated people by promising them glimpses of their future. However, apart from their divinatory aspect, the Tarot cards themselves are worthy of study for the world of stories contained within their artwork: a rich tapestry of allusions and hidden meanings.
So come meet the Fool at the beginning of his journey. Join him as he encounters the Hanged Man, the Sun, the Lovers and many more. And find out why the Death card may not be the worst of them all at our Imaginary Lands session on the World of the Tarot!
In this session we will delve into the Rider-Waite deck of cards. Along with the stories, you will also be taken through two ways of reading the cards. If you have your own tarot deck (even a different one) you are welcome to bring it along; the more the merrier!
This event is part of the Imaginary Lands series, curated every Wednesday night at Crow HQ. For more events, check out our calendar
