We're happy to bring a unique workshop "Introducing Mindfulness to Children".

Suitable for ages : 7 to 14 years

Children below the age of 7 can attend accompanied by an adult.

Children are uniquely suited to benefit from mindfulness practice. Habits formed early in life will inform behaviors in adulthood, and with mindfulness, we have the opportunity to give our children the habit of being peaceful, kind and accepting. 

While our brains are constantly developing throughout our lives, connections in the prefrontal circuits are created at their fastest rate during childhood. 

Mindfulness promotes skills controlled in the prefrontal cortex like focus and cognitive control & therefore has a particular impact on the development of skills including self-regulation, judgment and patience during childhood.

About the Instructor - 

Kavya, @apartbykavya is a 20 something self-taught doodle artist, based out of New Delhi. Doodling has helped her find solace in this journey of hers. 

Now, she is on a mission to teach and impart her art to others to foster creativity & unleash their inner artist.
