Make A Plan
Chennai Super Kings saw a Dhoni 2.0 step up to the pitch this year. In form with his batting as well as strategizing for the team, knew taking wickets would be crucial to the Kings' gameplay. The bowling department truly delivered too! Experience saw Dad's Army make it to a thrilling finale this year, although they may hope to add younger players to the team in the next edition.

Chennai Super Kings' star-studded squad returns this VIVO IPL with largely the same impressive lineup as last year! Pacer Mohit Sharma and uncapped player Ruturaj Gaikwad are two additions to the team to look forward to. The question that CSK faces this season is if the team's experience will see them through the finals again, or lead to rusty playing. Come whistle podu again and watch them live!

IPL 2018 - Season Overview
9 tournaments, 7 finals and now 3 trophies! What a stupendous record CSK have maintained throughout. Shane Watson’s heroic hundred led them to the VIVO IPL 2018 trophy and it was just rewards for a side that was deemed too old and not good enough by many at the start. The likes of Ambati Rayudu, Shane Watson, Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni himself with the bat, and Shardul Thakur, Lungi Ndidi and Dwayne Bravo with the ball, along with numerous contributions from everyone in their squad made this feat possible. Who can forget the three hundreds by Rayudu and Watson, Ngidi's mesmerising spell of 4/10 and MS Dhoni's overall tactics and innovations that have led them here. Their domination was encapsulated by the fact that they beat the tournament’s next best team, the Sunrisers Hyderabad, in all four games in which they faced them! A truly remarkable achievement and it will be fascinating to see what this team does next season as well!
