Jhumritalaiya - the school of storytelling for adults, presents an extra ordinary show that you must have never witnessed before "Jhumritalaiya Jaanwar Special" - A virtual storytelling event that revolves around the co-inhabitants of our planet, ANIMALS!
This World Animal Week, 30 extremely talented and diverse storytellers, from all over the world, bring to you unexplored dimensions of a world that lies in front of our eyes and yet goes unnoticed.
With ORIGINAL stories ranging from what a pet brings to your home, to animal abuse, to hunting, to a poetic jugalbandi between an ant and a honey bee, and much more, this evening is sure to leave you spell bound.
Founded by Storyteller and Life Coach Mehak Mirza Prabhu, Jhumritalaiya has been providing one on one mentorship to professional storytellers. And it is these students who come together to deliver 120 minutes of impactful stories. Our constant endeavour is to innovate fictional storytelling through original stories of today's times, that leave a lasting impression in the mind of the viewer, and manage to contribute to the society while pursuing our passion.
This time, what we intend to do is directing our creative strength to raise funds and help strengthen the cause of cruelty against animal and animal sheltering. Proud to have Mirchi Mehfil, our digital partner, supporting us in the cause.
Pick whatever amount you're comfortable paying, and just show up for a magical evening with your entire family. (Parental guidance advised)
About the beneficiary of the fundraiser: "WORLD FOR ALL" is a Mumbai based registered non-profit organization [E-2754(M)] , founded in 2009 with a vision that one day every stray animal in India will be treated with love, dignity and compassion and will find a place in our homes, hearts and lives.
WFA has been instrumental in getting homes for 7,600+ Indie breed puppies and kittens, rescuing 64,000+ injured dogs and cats, sterilising 12,800+ dogs and cats and raising awarenss through almost 1,42,000+ children.
The Pandemic has been a challenging time, as it not only created a difficult time to survive but also scarce donations (since 2020), made them struggle to maintain quality service for animals under their care.
Still, WFA has been at the forefront for animal welfare on daily basis, even during lockdown.
We, the artists at Jhumritalaiya wish to help in the whatever best way we can and that's why this show is coming to life.
All the funds generated with your contribution will be directed to right place, for a noble cause and you'll recieve all the information regarding all the funds we procured and where were they sent.
