Sandscape is an Indo-European Collective transformed into a Full Moon Experimental Desert Music Festival. It features experimentation of new forms of music, dance, art workshops, and projection mapping. Artists from around the world come together for a multimedia ‘jugalbandi’ between Folk & Electronic Artists, Alternative Urban Music Acts, Regional Folk Acts supported by 3D Visual Mapping, Body Performances & Interactive Arts. Sandscape envisions sustainable livelihood for the regional musicians & promotes music tourism in Rajasthan at large. An 8-day celebration for the artists, the festival is open for travellers on the weekend of 8th & 9th of February. Come, escape to the golden dunes of Khuri, near Jaisalmer, as we take care of your accommodation and experience.

ITINERARY

Day 1 - 8th February, Saturday

• The escape commences with check-in at the campsite at 1 PM, followed by a hearty lunch on order. Post lunch, make way for thrilling adventure activities in the desert, like jeep safari and camel rides.
• At 6 PM, head to the Khuri Dunes to be a part of the Desert Festival. Organised by the Government of Rajasthan, the festival will be a compilation of camel races, cultural performances circling around all forms of Rajasthani music and dance, and a live concert hosting Indie artists.
• At 10 PM, you move to a new venue in the desert for tantalising live performances by international artists including Ma Faiza Live Project, Sandeep Vasishta, She’s Drunk, Ind Ra, World Wide Web, Atrangi, and Bird. Party till late in the night before you head back to the camps.

Day 2 - 9th February, Sunday

• Start off your morning early at 7 with an exclusive Desert Yoga Session.
• At 8:30, you’ll be served a scrumptious breakfast which is on the house.
• The merriment continues with a guided Khuri Village Walk at 10 AM.
• Lunch is served at 1 PM (not inclusive).
• As afternoon kicks in, you can opt to participate in workshops (non-inclusive) of pottery, painting, and photography, in the aesthetic venues.
• The festivities continue at Sandscape, 6 PM onwards. An artist line-up of Ma Faiza, Mash, Art Chakra, She’s Drunk, Ind Ra, Reverse Osmosis, World Wide Web, Atrangi, Priyansh Paliwal, Kutle Khan & Band, Blurface, Talab Khan & Band, and Lucid Raga ft. Salman Khan make you sway to their unique tunes.
• The music will range from Indie to Electronic and pop to folk on both days, so brace for a unique musical experience throughout the evening! Enjoy till you drop, after which you’ll probably want to go back and rest, but only very late into the night!

Day 3 - 10th February

• Breakfast is served (on the house), followed by a check-out by 12 PM. Collect all the memories and bid adieu to a remarkable experience as you make your way back home.

INCLUSIONS

• For those who have booked the Camping Tent, breakfast coupons will be available per head on the site. Price includes 1 pass to access the Dune Party + accommodation for 1 person onsite. Add-on for 1 person to the same tent is available and will be charged extra (max 2 people to a tent). You’ll have access to the common toilet on the Dune site.
• If you’re opting for the Deluxe Swiss Tent, your breakfast is included in the package along with 2 passes to the Dune Party + accommodation for 2 people in the Khuri village (3km from the dunes). Attached bath and toilet with accommodation, add-on available for 1 person in the same tent (maximum 3 people per tent).
• If you’re opting for the Luxury Swiss Cottage, your breakfast is included in the package along with 2 passes to the Dune Party + accommodation for 2 people in the Khuri village (3km from the dunes). Attached bath and toilet with accommodation, add-on available for 2 more people in the same tent (maximum 4 people per tent).
• Extra cost to note: If you don't have your own vehicle, jeeps (can seat 6 people comfortably) to the dune party can be booked at the Resort at nominal price. We advise sharing such jeeps with other visitors to make it affordable for all.
