1. This is an individual speaking event. There will be a JAM session with one minute on the clock and can have 7-8 people participating at a time.
2. There will be a JAM Moderator, who is God, their decision is final. Along with him, there will be a time and points keeper, with a hawk.
3. The session begins with a clap-off, the person to clap first will be given a topic to speak on, abiding by the following rules,failing which other participants can raise an objection 

• The speaker must use only Queen’s English, no slangs and contractions like could’ve, should’ve etc.
• Every proper noun must be pre-introduced 
• Speech defects like stuttering, stammering and unnatural pauses are not allowed
• Time wasting tactics(late start,no start, repetition of words,change of pace) are not allowed
• Plagiarism is prohibited 

4 .Special objections can be introduced by the moderator’s discretion. 

5 .Each second of speaking fetches a point and every objection is also allotted 2-3 points .The person with the highest number of points wins the round.
