Jhumritalaiya - the school of storytelling for adults, brings to you a one of its kind event "Jhumritalaiya Jodidar Special" - An online duet storytelling event, live on your screens in the comfort of your homes. This is a perfect way to wind up your weekend with stories that will make you laugh, cry, smile, think, and much more.

Founded by Storyteller and Life Coach Mehak Mirza Prabhu, Jhumritalaiya has been providing one on one mentorship to professional storytellers. And it is these students who come together to deliver 90 minutes of impactful stories. Our constant endeavour is to innovate fictional storytelling and leave a lasting impression in the mind of the viewer. 

We are conscious of the times we are in and hence all the proceeds of this event shall be donated to an NGO for Covid relief purposes.

About the fundraiser: Vanika Sangtani's NGO "denied" has been working tirelessly for years to educate underprivileged children. When Covid hit, one of the students Vanika taught, Pari, showed up at her door asking for food. Since that day Vanika has been working relentlessly to raise funds to procure some ration for all families living in that area. With Rs. 1000/- each family gets a ration for approx 1.5 months. We the artists at Jhumritalaiya wish to do whatever best contribution we can. Your funds will be directed to the right place and you will receive information as to what all was procured from the fundraiser and where was it distributed.
