About the Event
‘Journeying Across the Himalayas’ is Royal Enfield’s first-of-its-kind multidisciplinary festival celebrating the enduring spirit of the Himalayas, and a call to collective action for the region. From December 5th to 15th, 2024, Travancore Palace in New Delhi will bring together artists, conservationists, designers, chefs, authors, youth changemakers, and key opinion leaders to share stories from and of the Himalayas.

Rooted in Royal Enfield’s longstanding spirit of community resilience, Journeying Across the Himalayas is an invitation to engage, learn, and share the powerful narratives that shape the Himalayas.
INTERACTIVE INSTALLATIONS AND EXHIBITIONS
The exhibition will showcase a rich array of immersive art installations and exhibits, taking visitors on a journey through the Himalayas. Highlights include the Himalayan Knot Textile Exhibition, where traditional craftsmanship and folklore intertwine with sustainable practices, and An Ode to the Snow Leopard, a groundbreaking 360-degree VR experience that transports you to the elusive snow leopard’s remote habitat.
Explore Green Pit Stops: Harmony by Design, a striking display of Royal Enfield’s eco-friendly pit stop project, and witness the creative fusion of road safety and artistry in Helmets for India, Art for Change, where helmets become canvases for change. Other highlights include the innovative Helmeted Hyphae installation made from mycelium, and Evolution of Ice Hockey in Ladakh, a visual celebration of the sport's legacy.
The exhibition also features The Shape of the Wind is a Tree, showcasing works from The Himalayan Fellowship, and Through the Lens of Community, Conservation and Culture, an immersive multimedia exploration of conservation efforts in the region. Entanglements, a site-specific installation explores the connection between the Aravalli and Himalayan ranges through regenerative art.
PANEL DISCUSSIONS AND EXPERIENCES
Engage in discussions and panels led by prominent voices in conservation, the arts, and Himalayan communities, with themes spanning climate resilience, responsible tourism, and culinary and intangible heritage. These conversations will explore new approaches to climate change and conservation, offering audiences a nuanced understanding of Himalayan perspectives.
A curated marketplace offers artisanal products such as handwoven textiles, books, and regional products, alongside a special pop-up shop featuring capsule collections inspired from Royal Enfield's Himalayan Knot. Attendees can also take part in hands-on workshops, where Himalayan crafts and sustainable practices come to life.
Regional cuisine plays an integral role as well, with food experiences designed to evoke the distinct flavours and stories of the mountains.
