ABout Kalusbai:- 

Kalsubai Peak is the highest peak of the Sahyadri mountain ranges in Ahmednagar district. At the summit is a small temple of the Kalsubai Goddess, the local deity, hardly big enough to seat three people at one time. This peak stands true to its quality of being the highest peak of the state and commands a mesmerizing view of the mountains surrounding it.

To the north of the mountain are various forts and scalable mountains such as Harihargad, Brahmagriri, the intimidating AMK range and many more such. To the southwest is the famous needle hole upon Ratangad and to the south are Harishchandragad and Ghanchakkar can be seen.

Itinerary

DAY 1: 31st Dec 2019.

06.25 PM:- Catch the Train from Mumbai 

08.50 Pm:- Meet the Team at Kasara Station 

9.00 PM: Proceed towards the base village.

11.00 PM: Reach the base village, relax for a while and have dinner.

1.00 AM: Start the trek towards the peak. Reach the top at our own pace, and enjoy the journey.

DAY 2: 01st Jan 2020

05.30 AM: Wake up and freshen up. Watch the sunrise and enjoy the cool morning.

07:00 AM: Start descent towards the base, where we will have some awesome breakfast ready for us.

11:00 AM: Bid adieu to the amazing memories and start our return journey towards Kasara station.

6.25 PM: Mumbai CST

6.33 PM: Byculla

6.40 PM: Dadar

6.47 PM: Kurla

6.51 PM: Ghatkopar

7.06 Pm : Thane

7.19 PM: Dombivali

7.28 PM: Kalyan

7.42 PM: Titwala

8.02 PM: Asangaon

8.40 PM: Kasara

Things to Carry 

Torch with extra batteries (Very important)

Identity Proof

3 liters water (Very Important)

Good trekking shoes (Very Important)

Extra pair of Floaters/Sandals.

Sleeping mat/bag/ blanket to rest on.

Some ready to eat food (Like plum cakes, biscuits, etc.)

Haversack to put all your belongings in. Keep your hands free while trekking.

Medicines that you take regularly (We do have a general medicine box) Please avoid wearing jewelry and other valuable items.

Things to Remember:-

A basic toilet facility will be available at the base village.

We advise participants to not opt such event with any medical issues.

We don't recommend participants to reach the base village with own vehicle as considering complicated route & respecting everyone's time.

Smoking/drinking/ Smoke up is strictly prohibited during the event. Anyone found will be expelled from the event immediately.
