Karnataka Premier League 2018: Tickets, Schedule & Results, Info & More!

7 teams go head-to-head for the 7th season of one of the most exciting regional T20 league. Read on for tickets, and details on the teams.

The Karnataka Premier League (KPL) is an Indian Twenty20 cricket league established by the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) in August 2009 and modeled after the Indian Premier League (IPL). It started on 15 Aug 2018, the Bangalore & Hubli legs of the tournament are done, and we now enter the final phase in Mysuru!


The league sees several top players like Manish Pandey, R Vinay Kumar, Mayank Agarwal, Robin Uthappa, Stuart Binny, Abhimanyu Mithun, Bharath Chipli and Amit Verma; along with some of the best batsmen and bowlers from the domestic league. It promises to be a fantastic tournament!

Tickets to games in Mysuru

Women’s Exhibition Matches at KPL 2018

To promote and encourage women's cricket, the League will organize women’s teams from the franchises, for a set of exhibitions matches this season! These matches will be held on the 4th and 5th of September 2018 in Mysore, as part of the lead up to the finals of the main tournament. The sport has growin in popularity after India’s successful World Cup Campaign in England last year, where they reached the final. There will be four franchises fielding women teams: the Shivamogga Lions, The Mysuru Warriors, The Bijapur Bulls and the Belagavi Panthers. The teams will be coached by former Indian all-rounder Mamatha Maben and former Indian player Kalpana Venkatachar. Eventually, the tournament would like to have a separate women's KPL leg, as well!
