There's a cure for that at Kasol - one of the most exciting hubs for backpackers, trekkers and anyone who loves the snow, mountains, rapids, hot springs and breathtaking views!
For the avid traveller, Kasol holds many hidden treasures you can unearth and explore. Journey down the forest, climb the hills, head off to Kheerganga and then to the Buni Buni pass on the trekkers track... all against a stunning backdrop of the Himalayas!
Walk through streams and rocky paths, wide enough to take only one foot at a time. Just remember to step aside courteously, as large herds of sheep file past, casting secretive looks at all those who don't look like them!
Kasol will not only show you a side of India that you would have never seen before, but will satisfy any raging wanderlust you may have! Spend a week here and go back with memories for a lifetime!
Stretched along the lovely Parvati River with mountains rising all around, Kasol is not just an ordinary village. It’s not just another getaway, it's sure to change your perspective of the mountains.
Day 2: After breakfast we will make our move from Kasol to Tosh. Tosh boasts of some breathtaking views of the Himalayas. We will reach Tosh by afternoon and will go for an exploration to the Kutla village and waterfalls there. We will be staying at the home stays there.
Day 3: It's time to head out to the much awaited Kheerganga trek via jungle route of Kalga. All your tiredness of the hike will be washed away with a sight of the mystical hot springs of Kheerganga. You can step in and relax in the hot spring while admiring vistas of snow-capped peaks. We will be camping at Kheerganga.
Day 4: Wake up to the welcoming chilly morning breeze, amidst the huge mountains and lush green landscape. Get ready, as we are going for the Buni Buni pass from Kheerganga which is at an altitude of of 3700m. After the 4 hr trek we will reach the camp site. We will be camping there overnight.
Day 5: After exploring the places around in the morning we will start our trek back to Barshaini from Bunibuni, a 3 hr trek. We will reach back to Kasol by the evening. Overnight stay in Kasol. (You could relax and celebrate the trek success at some famous cafes)
Day 6: Well, it's the day to relax after the long walks in the mountains. Chill around Kasol till evening and relax! Catch bus for Delhi around 5.
Day 7: Reach Delhi by morning 7 AM to get the flight back home.
Transfer by comfortable private car from Kasol to Tosh and back from trek Buni Buni pass trek
Accommodation in tents for 2 nights and Hostels/Homestays for 3 days.
Food: 3 times meal on trek for two nights and three days
Guide for the trek and trekking equipment.
Any personal expenses during the trek out of package.
Hand Torch with spare Batteries.
UV protection sunglasses.
Non-skid deep tread hiking shoes & a Pair of lightweight Slipper/Sandals
Quick Dry Warm lower or Track Pants.
Full sleeves T-shirts/ Sweatshirts.
Thick woolen socks. 1 pair for every two days of trekking
