When two friends and passionate storytellers came together over a cup of coffee to discuss the stories in people's lives a few years ago, Kitchen Konnections was born.

Storytellers Sowmya Srinivasan and Lavanya Prasad explore the shades of women, their quirkiness, the complexities an d the wonder called woman through this series.

The stories vary from personal tales,folklore , legends to authored tales that touch their hearts and connects with their soul. This series had seen a lot of men and women participants sharing and reflecting beautiful thoughts post session.

Lahe lahe is happy to be bringing to you "Kitchen Konnections" for the second time, and this time online.

About the tellers :

Sowmya Srinivasan is a passionate storyteller who has been telling stories for many years now. She sees stories as a powerful healing tool and does regular healing circles, and trains councellors and psychologists in the art of using stories in their work through her organization "Soul Space Storytel"

Lavanya Prasad is an electrical engineer by graduation and a professional storyteller by choice. She believes she makes better and long lasting connecions through stories than electrical wires.

She has been telling stories professionally since 2011, and trains people in the art, gives performances through her venture Tale'scope. She is also a trained Carnatic singer and Bharatanatyam dancer.
