About the Event
After the huge success of "Kvizzing with the comedians - Grand Tournament" last month,
Kumar Varun is back & this time with a theme !
In this edition of Kvizzing with the comedians, watch 16 movie buffs battle it out to claim the throne.

Artist
Kumar Varun is a member of Random Chikibum, a comedy collective with fellow comedian Rahul Subramanian. Self-described as "a group of over-enthusiastic, furniture-loving, animal-agnostic, clingy individuals on a mission to make no sense", they won the Comedy Hunt on YouTube in 2015, and have a popular office-humour series, Random Daftar, as part of Laughter Games on YouTube. Kumar is a popular feature of several AIB sketches, and has recently forayed into stand-up comedy.
Rohan Joshi is a member of popular comedy collective AIB. As part of AIB, he has been a part of the collective’s ambitious projects such as AIB Knockout (India’s first ever comedy roast), AIB Diwas (a full-day open-air comedy show), On Air with AIB (the satirical news show telecast on primetime television and Hotstar), and AIB Presents Royal Turds (a Bollywood-themed spoof award show). One of the earliest stand-up comics in the country, he was on the Times of India’s list of top ten comedians in India in 2012, with over 250 shows at premier venues in India and internationally. He performs regularly for corporate clients across India. Rohan has co-written the prestigious Filmfare awards. Excitingly for fans, he has returned to the stand-up stage in 2017, and is trying out new material.
The Bangalore-bred and Mumbai based stand-up comedian, writer, showrunner, musician and improviser, is arguably one of the biggest in the business. His comedy prowess is seen in his Amazon Prime Video special, Don’t be That Guy, along with the sci-fi comedy web series Starboyz on YouTube, and Comedy Central’s The Living Room. Kenny has also co-written and acted in 'Sketchy Behaviour' (Amazon Prime Video) alongside Kanan Gill. With over 5 million followers online and live vlog shows like 'Chai Time With Kenny', he has created a niche for himself in the space of comedy. After having performed 6 stand-up specials, Kenny’s latest special “The Most Interesting Person in the Room” is available on Netflix. Kenny has delivered over 1000+ shows across the world. His last World Tour saw him sell over 25000+ Tickets in over 50+ cities globally. Kenny also is the creator & host of the podcast, ‘Simple Ken’ Simpleken is a podcast meant for millennials. With over 30 episodes over the last 2 years and an ever growing audience, the podcast falls under the ‘Top 1% Podcasts Globally’ Kenny has also worked with multiple brands such as Google, KFC, Spotify, Royal Enfield, Taco Bell, OnePlus, Microsoft, Colgate and many more. His knack for understanding a brand's core values and carefully integrating them into his content is highly regarded in the content creator space. Kenny & his passion for creating and exploring more ways for expressing his artistic vision & his ever loving audience, helms him as one of the top creators in India and globally.
Prashasti Singh is a stand-up comic, writer, actor and improviser, who you've most recently seen in Amazon Prime Video's Comicstaan. She has been active in the Mumbai comedy circuit since 2015. She has 3 years of experience in improv comedy and 2 years in stand-up, performing across venues like Canvas Laugh Club, NCPA and the Cuckoo Club. Prior to comedy she has dabbled with theater and has performed at venues like Kamani auditorium in Delhi and Rangamandira in Bangalore. Prashasti has a degree in engineering from Delhi university and MBA from IIM Lucknow. She has worked with a Television Broadcast company for 4 years understanding and creating content for the heartland consumer.Modesty is clearly not her forte.
Part-time stock-broker, a dance enthusiast and a full-time Gujju who performs comedy on the weekends, Sonali Thakker is an exciting new comedy talent in the town. Talking about grave topics like travelling, shopping and chaprigiri in her sets, Sonali's has performed on the biggest of stages including Canvas Laugh Club and NCPA. In 2017, she took her special 'Almost There' to stage across the country.
One of India’s most versatile comedians, Naveen recently showcased his comic dexterity with released his hour-long comedy special, Don’t Make That Face, on Amazon Prime. A member of comedy collective Them Boxer Shorts, they created the acclaimed web series Better Life Foundation. He has also acted in Challenge Accepted (a Comedy Central TV show), Starboyz (a comedy sci-fi web series with Kenny Sebastian) and acts as Uncle Francis, a comedic avatar which has found a cult following.From being a finalist on Comedy Central’s Indian Comedy Festival 2012, he’s performed over 400 stand-up shows, and headlined comedy events such as Stage42, Bangalore Comedy Festival and Chennai’s Fringe Comedy Festival. In 2017, he wrote episodes and played Pankaj for the hilarious web series Pushpavalli. As Uncle Francis would say, "Hello children, just keep calm and just go to his show, da dei!"
The man behind the hit social avatar Struggling Actor Vicky Malhotra, Varun Thakur is the latest Internet sensation who has taken over platforms like Snapchat and Facebook with his acidic self-deprecatory humor, making fun of all the CCD-frequenting struggling actors based out of Lokhandwala, Mumbai. Co-founder of SnG Comedy, a popular comedy collective that has amassed 470000 subscribers and 61 million views, the comedian has been selling out shows and venues with his hour-long comedy special, Vicky This Side, Varun That Side. In case reality wasn’t enough for this comic, the show is also streaming on Amazon Prime. Varun has also anchored shows on MTV, MTV Indies, UTV Bindaas and HotStar, and has done corporate shows for Google, Mercedes, HDFC, Standard Chartered, Radio Mirchi and several others. In January 2018, he released a retro horror movie called Shaitaan Haveli on Amazon Video and also went on a USA tour. This October, Varun is going on tour around Australia with fellow comedian Kunal Kamra.
