This is a 8 Days Road Trip to Ladakh Life at Ladakh is characterized by intense spiritualities. When you are here, visit the monasteries of Alchi, Diskit & Hunder, Hemis, Lamayuru, Shanti Stupa, Spituk, Thiksey etc. Another thing to look here is the priceless antiques and art. You might even bump into students from different parts of the world, studying Buddhism here. Other major attractions for the tourist worldwide have been the cycling , rafting and trekking expeditions at the region. Even if you are an Indian traveler, this world would not be same like the people you have left behind. Take this road for this is less travelled.. this leads to a whole new unseen world.
On arrival you will be transferred to the Houseboat or Hotel, evening 30 min Shikara ride on the lake Overnight stay at the Hotel/Houseboat. Your pickup will be depending on your arrival time at airport.

Day 02 – Srinagar – Sonmarg – Dras – Kargil
Sonamarg – the Meadow of Gold Depart from Srinagar as per road opening timings. The drive to Sonamarg is another spectacular facet of country side in Kashmir in Sindh Valley. The Sindhu Valley is the largest tributary of the valley of Kashmir. Drive to Kargil the road passes through the panoramic village reach Sonamarg (2740 Mtrs). After Sonamarg most rough road and wet Zojila pass 3527 Mtrs (Gateway of Ladakh). Continue drive towards Drass (The second coldest inhibited place in the world). Another two and half hours’ drive will take us to Kargil (2710 Mtrs) which has got its importance after opening the Ladakh for tourists in 1974 Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03 – Kargil – Magnetic Hill – Hall of fame – Leh
Depart from Kargil after early Breakfast, en-route visiting the monastery of Mulbekh & Lamayuru & Moonlandscape passing through Namkila & Fatula Passes, The highest pass on the Srinagar- Leh road and proceed for Sightseeing of 1000 year old Alchi monastery the only Gompa in Ladakh region on flat ground. Thereafter proceed to the Indus & Zanskar river Sangam, drive along the Indus river visiting, Pathar Sahib Gurdwara and Magnetic Hill (where the cars defy gravity), and further on to Leh Hall of Fame (which has a museum of the Kargil War memorabilia) Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 04 – Leh Acclimatization
Today acclimatize yourself to avoid High altitude sickness (Acclimatization is one of the important things to prepare for while planning trip to Ladakh. The fact that Leh and most of the places in Ladakh are located above the altitude of 10,000 feet, visitors may suffer from dizziness, headaches or even acute mountain sickness (AMS).

Day 05 – Leh – Khardungla – Diskit – Hunder – Nubra valley
Drive 120 Kms 4/5hrs after early breakfast drive to Nubra valley via Khardongla Pass (18,380ft) the world highest motorable road and gateway to Siachen Glacier, the views from the top of the pass are amazing. Visit Deskit Monastery (118kms) founded by Lama Sherab Zangpo in 1420 A.D. Check inn at camp or hotel and after that we will visit Hundar village (7kms from Deskit) and Double-Humped Bactrian Camel Safari in sand dunes at Hundar.Dinner and overnight at Hotel/Camp in Nubra.

Day 06 – Nubra valley to Pangong Lake
After early Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft), through Changla Pass 17,350 ft., it is the third highest motorable road in the world. Pangong Lake it is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the Banks of Pangong Lake while appreciating the changing Colors and fascinating high altitude of the Lake Overnight stay at the hotel.

Attraction: Pangong Lake, Changla pass, Thiksey Monastery, Shey palace, Hemis Gompa, the Druk white lotus school
Day 07 – Pangong – Leh Palace – Shanti stupa - Leh
After breakfast Visit Lake at Sun rise, drive back to Leh, Late Afternoon visit Leh Palace & Shanti Stupa, Later in the evening walk around Local Market Overnight stay at the hotel.

Attraction: leh palace, Shanti stupa, sankar gompa.
Day 08 – Drop to leh Airport
It’s time now to say goodbye to our tour companions. Let us be in contact with each other through email, Facebook…. And meet again on one more memorable tour. See you all!! ‘Joining and Leaving Tour’ Guests will proceed to Leh airport as per scheduled flight. Tour concludes.
