Jungle Trail offers their 3 nights/4 days birding trip to one of the best bird sanctuaries at Bharatpur along with a daytime excursion at Taj Mahal!
Keoladeo National Park or Keoladeo Ghana National Park, formerly known as the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary in Bharatpur, Rajasthan is a famous sanctuary that hosts thousands of birds, especially during the winter season.
Over 230 species of birds are known to be resident. It was declared a protected sanctuary in 1971 and is also a World Heritage Site.
Every year, thousands of migratory waterfowl visit the park for wintering and breeding. All this gives you the perfect reason to visit the sanctuary and have a splendid time in the winter!
Direct train from Mumbai and other major railway stations are available.
Alternate: one can take a flight to Jaipur. Transfer from Jaipur would be at additional cost.
Stay on twin sharing basis with all meals
Entry permits at Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
Excursion to Agra.
Expense of personal nature such as mineral water, tips, laundry, telephones, beverages, etc.
Camera charges if any and entry fees at Taj Mahal, Agra.
Those travelling by air – transfer cost from Jaipur Airport would be an additional cost.
Reach Mathura Railway Station by 10:00 AM. Drive to Bharatpur around 45 kms in an AC Car. Reach Resort by 11:30 AM. After some rest and lunch, head to the first birding trail. After trail, head back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. Guide will accompany for the trail.
Day 2: 16th December 2017
Leave for an early morning birding with packed breakfast. Return to the hotel for leisure time. After lunch, leave for one more evening birding trail. After returning to resort, dinner and overnight stay at hotel. An expert guide will accompany on the day for both the trails.
Day 3: 17th December 2017
After early breakfast, leave for Agra - Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Return to the hotel in the evening. After returning to hotel, dinner and overnight stay at hotel. Please note that lunch is not included during the visit to Taj Mahal.
Day 4: 18th December 2017
Leave for an early morning last birding trail with packed breakfast. Return to the hotel and check out. After lunch, proceed towards Mathura Railway Station or nearest airport to Mumbai.
