Mumbai: Queer Azaadi March

Queer Azaadi March is an expression, a voice, a celebration and a platform to ask for equal rights of LGBTIQ individuals. It is one of the largest groups advocating for gay rights in the country, and hosts a march in the beginning of the year.

Delhi: Delhi Queer Pride Parade

The Delhi Queer Pride Parade is organised by members of the Delhi Queer Pride Committee every last Sunday of November since 2008.

Bangalore: Karnataka Queer Habba

NammaPride - Bengaluru Pride and Karnataka Queer Habba is organised by CSMR (Campaign for Sexuality Minorities Rights), which is a coalition of many LGBTQ and allied groups and individuals, mainly based in Bengaluru.

Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar Pride Parade

LGBTQ Bhubaneswar is a symbol of solidarity for LGBTQ folks who are subjected to social stigma, in the state of Odisha. It strives for social education and acceptance regarding this. They hold the Bhubaneswar Pride Parade in June.

Kerala: Kerala Queer Pride March

The Kerala Queer Pride is organised by a collective named Queer Pride Keralam, which includes several LGBTIQ support groups, organisations, and women' collectives. One of the most active communities in Kerala is Queerala, a community-based registered organization for Malayali LGBTIQ people, with focus on advocacy on sexual orientation and gender identity. It started as a support group on Facebook for individuals interested in queer topics, and now aims for a society free of discrimination against gender-nonconforming individuals and sexual minorities. The 9th Gala Pride March is being organised by the Oasis Cultural Society, a community-based organisation. Prior to the march, the third edition of the Manaveeyam Queer Pride Rally was held as a curtain raiser.

Pune: Pune Pride Walk

Pune Pride Walk is organized annually by Samapathik Trust, a sexual health organization which primarily works on LGBTHI (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Hijara, Intersex) Issues, based out of Pune. The first march of the Pride Month in India happened recently, check out some photos here.

Kolkata: Kolkata Rainbow Pride Festival

The city hosted the first pride march in the country, in 1999. Today, Kolkata Rainbow Pride Festival is a collective of individuals coming together to address gender, sexuality and social equality movements and issues and contribute to their progresses.

ANSH and Citizens Action Network, Bhopal held the first Pride event in the city in 2017.

Nagpur: Nagpur Pride March

Orange City LGBT Pride March or Nagpur Pride March is the pride parade of Nagpur, Maharashtra, which started in the year 2016. It is a festival to honour and celebrate Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people and their supporters. The third Orange City Pride March 2018 was organised by an NGO called Sarathi Trust. The organisation has been working for the rights of the LGBT community for the last 10 years.

Guwahati: Queer Pride Guwahati

Queer Pride Guwahati was organised for the first time by the members and supporters of the local LGBT community in Guwahati, Assam in February 2014. The Queer Pride Guwahati was the first LGBT Pride in the entire North Eastern India. Inspired by the first pride, XUKIA was formed as a collective of mostly young women and others envisaging an Assam which will one day make its mark in creating a strong LGBTQI mass movement, leadership challenging heteronormative hegemony and voicing up against discrimination to create a more queer-friendly Assam.
