A LOLStars Comedy night promises you an evening of the finest comics giving you new comedy, which is guaranteed to leave you red in the face and give your abs a good workout. You will see one of the top comics on tour, supported by a rising star who has recently brought comedy club audiences to its collective knees. Keep checking this page because more and more shows will keep getting announced - and more cities as well. There could be a few surprises in there as well!

About the Artists

Rohan Joshi is a member of popular comedy collective AIB. As part of AIB, he has been a part of the collective’s ambitious projects such as AIB Knockout (India’s first ever comedy roast), AIB Diwas (a full-day open-air comedy show), On Air with AIB (the satirical news show telecast on primetime television and Hotstar), and AIB Presents Royal Turds (a Bollywood-themed spoof award show). One of the earliest stand-up comics in the country, he was on the Times of India’s list of top ten comedians in India in 2012, with over 250 shows at premier venues in India and internationally. He performs regularly for corporate clients across India. Rohan has co-written the prestigious Filmfare awards. Excitingly for fans, he has returned to the stand-up stage in 2017, and is trying out new material.

Shy boy Ashish Shakya is a member of AIB, India’s edgiest comedy collective. As part of AIB, he has been a part of the collective’s ambitious projects such as AIB Knockout (India’s first ever comedy roast), AIB Diwas (a full-day open-air comedy show), On Air with AIB (the satirical news show telecast on primetime television and Hotstar), and AIB Presents Royal Turds (a Bollywood-themed spoof award show). As a stand-up comedian, he has performed hundreds of shows across the country, and has written for brands like the Filmfare Awards, ET Now, the Hero Group and the Aditya Birla Group. His 6-year-old piece humour column with The Hindustan Times,The Blunder Years, had a devoted following and has also co-written the hit news comedy show The Week That Wasn’t with Cyrus Broacha on CNN-IBN.
