The Makalidurga sunrise trek is the nearest railway trek to Bangalore. It begins with a 2 km walk on the railway track from the station of Makalidurga. Located at the foothills of Makalidurga Hill, the serene Makalidurga Lake offers a perfect retreat for those seeking a peaceful escape amidst the tranquil environs of the Western Ghats. One can also ride bikes to the beginning of the trekking trail as well.

Day 0: Night Departure from Bangalore

◆11:00 PM: Pickup from RR Nagar

◆11:30 PM: Pickup from Banashankari

◆12:00 AM: Pickup from BTM Layout

◆12:30 AM: Pickup from Silk Board

◆1:00 AM: Pickup from Marathahalli

◆1:30 AM: Pickup from Tin Factory & KR Puram

◆2:00 AM: Midnight Tea Break at a local café

◆4:30 AM :Reach Makalidurga Base Camp, followed by a trek briefing session.

◆5:00 AM: Rest and prepare for the trek.

For a group of 10-11, a 12-passenger Tempo Traveler will be arranged.

For a group of 20, a 22-seat Mini Bus will be designated.

For a group of 30, a 30-passenger bus will be provided.

For a Group of more than 35 People will be provided a 50 seater bus.

The pickup location remains the same; only the timings will vary, and updates will be shared in the WhatsApp group.

Day 1: Trek & Return to Bangalore

◆5:30 AM: Start the Makalidurga sunrise trek through rocky trails and shrub pathways.

◆7:00 AM: Reach the Makalidurga Fort and witness the breathtaking sunrise over the scenic Gundamagere Lake.

◆7:30 AM: Explore the ancient ruins, take photos, and relax at the summit.

◆8:30 AM: Start descending towards the base.

◆10:00 AM: Reach the base camp and freshen up.

◆10:30 AM: Hearty Breakfast (self-sponsored)

◆11:30 AM: Depart for Bangalore

◆1:00 PM: Drop-off is same as pick up location

Cancellation Policy:

0-15 Days Before the Start Date: No refund will be provided, and 100% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

15-30 Days Before the Start Date:50% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation.

Once your refund is initiated, it will be credited to your account within 5-7 working days.

If trips or activities get cancelled due to weather or government restrictions, we will try our best to offer an alternative. However, no

refund will be provided in such cases.
