About

Mandana Folk Art on Kettle Workshop, Mumbai

The beautiful folk art form of Mandana is a monochromatic tribal art of Rajasthan, traditionally made by women on mud walls and floor to sanctify festive and sacred occasions. Mandana is generally done with bare hands using chalk powder on walls covered with 'geru' mixture. In our workshop you will learn Mandana art designs and their placement on a traditional tea kettle that will serve as the perfect decorative piece in your home. Register for the workshop to begin experimenting with different objects you can paint your Mandana paintings on!
