Masterclass on Letter Embroidery

Have you ever admired an embroidered fabric, admired at the stitched and the intricacies that went in to make it a beautiful decor element? Wanted to make a piece of your own, having your own initials, to put on the wall next to your bed? We will help you make one, by yourself.

Introducing, just for you and your inner embroidery enthusiast, a Letter Embroidery Masterclass, for you to carve your own name in threads and knots.

With Aditi Acharya from @apdesign_in , an Anchor Certified artist and a firm believer of zero waste sustainable handmade products, she loves teaching people this exceptional and therapeutic form of art and this drives her.

In this 2 day long Masterclass, you will taken through every detail of this delicate and complex artform, right from the basic of needle work, understanding color theory, to you being able to stitch and sculpt out your own initials.

A complete interactive session where all your doubts will be answered and get personalized feedback on your work while you do it to ensure you get out the best possible work.

P.S.- You need not have ever used thread and needle to join this workshop. These would be beginner-friendly sessions

Day 1:

4th Dec | 2PM-4PM

30 mins - Learn about the basics of needle art and understand the materials that go into the making. 

10 mins - QnA session with the artist.

1 hour 20 mins - Introduction to embroidery and its techniques, understanding color theory and how to use it to create aesthetically pleasing artwork, trial round on learning few techniques before you start on with the actual letter piece.

Day 2:

5th Dec | 2PM-4PM

Start working on your letter piece. 

Starting from designing and allocating your patterns and learning all the techniques that go into creating the piece. Work alongside the artist!

A complete interactive session where all your doubts will be answered and get personalised feedback on your work while you do it to ensure you get out the best possible work.
