About DJ STINGRAY
Sherard Ingram aka DJ Stingray has been a strong presence in the world of techno for over twenty years. Growing up in Detroit, this school friend and DJ partner of Kenny Dixon Jr. realized his Urban Tribe project in 1991 with the now classic ‘Covert Action’, a track released on Retroactive’s seminal ‘Equinox’ compilation, a milestone in the city’s rich technosoul history. A couple of years later London’s Mo’Wax label released his debut album ‘The Collapse Of Modern Culture’, which featured collaborations with friends and peers such as Anthony ‘Shake’ Shakir, Moodymann and Carl Craig. His most illustrious work might have been as part of Drexciya’s live unit – he was named Stingray by Drexciya’s James Stinson. Reppin’ Detroit’s 313 with masked performances around the world, and three dozen releases – including records on labels like Planet E and Mahogani Music as well as collaborations with Dopplereffekt’s Heinrich Mueller (also known as the other half of Drexciya) – Ingram has since turned label head with Micron Audio Detroit to release the work of fresh, upcoming talent from across the globe.

At the bleeding edge of his own future, Zokhuma (Arman Menzies) represents the end of old things, the beginning of new ones, and a forged alliance with those making alternative electronic music in previously uncharted territories. Unafraid to criss-cross between soundscapes you’ve never heard—think frantic, chopped-up African beats or moodier, experimental electronica—and soundscapes that are all too familiar, his sensibilities have a way of putting any audience at ease. As does his infectious energy behind the console. The 24-year-old maverick has a mask for every occasion too. Well known in cult progressive metal circles in India for his earlier work songwriting and playing guitar for Goddess Gagged before moving on to study music production in the UK, he’s already performed in places like Croatia, Netherlands and Sri Lanka under his new moniker while cherry-picking his way through local gigs as well. As he gears up to launch his first EP and live tour in early 2017, connecting the dots seems impossible when everything is happening at once. But it doesn’t make it any less fun to try.

About Himay
Having begun his musical journey with a deep love for techno, Himay has come a long way since his first gig. He's more than comfortable with other genres like house, funk, disco, electronica. Therefore, each set of his turns out to be a surprise depending on the atmosphere. Himay knows how to build a vibe and prefers taking his time in creating musical moments, and therefore prefers longer sets. He's got a good ear and a keen eye for detail. That's consistently evident in every DJ set.
