Miss Universe India stands as the country’s biggest national pageant, serving as a key platform to select representatives for the prestigious Miss Universe pageant. It is the longest-running pageant in India, with a legacy spanning 72 years. The MUI 2024 edition was held at Zee Studios in Jaipur, India, on September 22, 2024. The pageant is conducted under the Glamanand Group, with Nikhil Anand as the National Director. Rhea Singha was crowned Miss Universe India 2024 and went on to represent India at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico.

Miss Universe Tamil Nadu is a prestigious beauty pageant dedicated to discovering true talent across Tamil Nadu. The event is organised under the Dr Aesthetix brand, with Dr Hemamalini Rajinikanth as the State Director. While traditional beauty pageants primarily focused on judging physical attributes, the modern pageant has evolved to include inner beauty, evaluating contestants based on personality, intelligence, talent, character, and charitable involvement.

Participants are assessed through private interviews with judges and by answering on-stage public questions. Miss Universe Tamil Nadu aims to celebrate and honour the multi-faceted beauty of its participants, highlighting their strengths and contributions to society. The Grand Finale 2025 will be held at the Sir Mutha Venkata Subbarao Concert Hall. This will be Tamil Nadu’s grandest pageant to date, featuring Chennai’s very first Met Gala-themed celebration.
