Moderated by Usha Venkatraman, the esteemed panelists comprising noted authors and storytellers Arshia Sattar, Stella Kassimati, Akshay Gandhi, Sheila Wee, Mandakini Mathur will discuss 'Parity of Myths - An Exploration'.
STORY TRAIL

Follow the trail down the mountainside as Leprechauns and other forest spirits take you back into the past... meet the Dancing Nandi, the Mysterious Mango Tree, the proud peacock, and the Wish-Fulfilling Tree - through the words of Mandakini Mathur, Atul Mathur, Hema Subramanian and Devaki Bhujang Gajare!

We invite you to share a 5 minute World Myth on our Open Mic platform.
GRAND FINALE: TALES BEYOND THE STARS

Let us sit under the open sky and travel back in time with mythological tales told by a spectacular array of storytellers - Arshia Sattar, Stella Kassmiti, Sheila Wee, Usha Venkatraman, Rajashree Tope, Rubena Sinha.
About the MIST Festival
MIST, the Mumbai International Storytelling Festival will be held in Mumbai on the 13th, 14th and 15th of January 2020, and in the misty hills of Panchgani near Mumbai on the 17th and 18th of January 2020. The theme of the inaugural MIST is World Mythology for the Millennials. Please check facebook.com/themistfestival for more information on the festival.

Oral Storytelling is the oldest and most intimate form of communication between the teller and the listener. Mumbai Storytellers Society, a registered society founded by Ms. Usha Venkatraman along with six like-minded storytellers, aims to revive and nurture this ancient art form in the local community of Mumbai.
