Unleash your creativity with the fascinating art of monoprinting in this beginner-friendly workshop at KNMA! Monoprinting is a unique printmaking process where no two prints are the same, offering an exciting opportunity to experiment and create one-of-a-kind artwork.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to apply ink to a plate, explore various techniques to build textures, and create stunning impressions on paper. What makes monoprinting special is its ability to incorporate textured items from everyday life.
We encourage you to bring some textured objects from home – such as leaves, lace, or fabric scraps – to personalize your prints even further.
By the end of the session, participants will take away:
● A set of their own personalized monoprints
● A deeper understanding of monoprinting techniques
● The ability to incorporate textured objects into their prints
