Visapur Fort is a hill fort near Visapur village in Maharashtra and was built during 1713-1720 CE by Balaji Vishwanath, the first Peshwa of Maratha Empire and booms with traits of traditional Maratha architecture.

Within the fort are enchanting caves and natural cisterns of crystal water.

A decorated arch, old dilapidated houses and the ruins of a large stone-built house known as the Peshwa's palace are enough to transport you back in time.

The stairway to this historical masterpiece takes the form of a waterfall during monsoons and wading through the waterfall makes for an enthralling trek
