Take the scenic and off beat route by trekking from Munnar to Kodaikanal.
Kodaikanal the Princess of Hill Stations and Munnar are both popular and unexplored destination for those with adventurous hearts. This trek from Munnar to Kodaikanal will take you through forests and mountain ranges where you will come across waterfalls, breath taking viewpoints and much more! If you are lucky, you might even see elephants, deer or other wild animals.
The experience of walking the long path, staying in tents near the waterfalls and enjoying the scenic beauty of various viewpoints like the top station, dolphin nose etc. are incomparable to any other.
Strap on your shoes. Kill two birds with one stone. Trek your way up to glory to two gorgeous peaks.
04:00 AM: Start from Cochin(We can inform you about the bus timings if you need)
09:00 AM : After assembling at the base, we will start trek from Top station(We will be having lunch on the way)
02:30 PM: Reach Kurangani(You will be transferred in a vehicle to the next point)
05:00 PM: Reach Kumbakkarai Waterfalls for Tent Camping and Dinner
Day 2
07:00 AM: As we have to cover around 15 km, we will start early after breakfast.
10:00 AM: We will be taking regular breaks both for enjoying the view points and photography.
01:00 PM: We will be having our packed lunch along the way.
02:00 PM: After lunch the route will become more picturesque with the mist as we are approaching Kodaikanal
05:00 PM: We will be reaching Dolphin Nose( Vattakanal ), a beautiful location by around 5 in the evening.

Munnar is well connected to major cities and towns in Kerala and neighboring states by the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC). National highway number 85 connects Munnar with other parts of the country. Private buses, jeeps and taxis can also be hired to reach Munnar.
Private buses are available from Banglore, coimbatore which can be booked via redbus and other similar websites.
