एखादं रोपटं एका ठिकाणाहून उचलून दुसरीकडे लावलं तर जगेल का?? प्रकाश नारायण संतांच्या मनातल्या लंपन ची गोष्ट असाच काहीसा प्रश्न मनात उभा करते.

आज्जी आजोबांना दत्तक गेलेला एक मुलगा आई -बाबा, शाळा, मित्र -मैत्रिणी,भावंडं आणि शहर सोडून एका खेड्यात जातो... त्याचं सगळं भावविश्व बदलतं आणि तो स्वतःचं नवं जग उभं करतो. एकटेपणाची भावना, तुटलेपणाची भीती ह्या सगळ्याशी संघर्ष करत पौंगडावस्थेच्या उंबरठ्यावर येऊन उभं ठाकताना लंपनची काय आणि कशी भावनिक ओढाताण होते ह्याची ही रंजक गोष्ट!!

प्रकाश नारायण संत यांच्या लेखणीतून उतरलेला लंपनचा बहारदार प्रवास आम्ही श्रोत्यांना ऐकवणार आहोत. एक तासाच्या ह्या प्रकट वाचनात वनवास, शारदा संगीत आणि पंखा या तीन पुस्तकातील निवडक प्रकरणांचं वाचन होईल.

Does a plant uprooted from one place and planted elsewhere survive? This is the question echoed in the story of Lampan, by Prakash Narayan Sant.

Lampan, a boy raised by his grandparents, leaves behind his parents, school, friends, siblings, and the city to go live in a village. This move shifts his entire perspective and he begins forging a new world for himself. This story delves into Lampan's emotional journey as he navigates the threshold of puberty, grappling with feelings of loneliness and the apprehension of being fractured.

This session will present excerpts from three of Sant's titles: Vanvas, Sharada Sangeet, and Pankha. We invite our audience to immerse themselves in Lampan's compelling tale and reflect on the intricate emotions it evokes.
