Curve Will Leave You on the Edge of Your Seat
Short-film
A sinister plot set in one location with one actor and no dialogues, Curve is thrilling at its best. Just under 10 minutes you’re left with a rush of emotions (with anxiety being dominant) and an experience that is so simple, yet so unsettling.

Tim Egan’s short thriller film ‘Curve’ is anything but ordinary. Uniquely scary and scarring, this horror film is set in one location – on the precipice of an absurd curve. We do not know what this place is or how our protagonist woke up to find herself on the edge of it. An abyss that would mark her certain doom or the hope of coming out the open end, the film journeys through the struggle of a young girl who finds herself in this dangerous situation.
10 minutes of almost tangible tension. Will she make it? One wrong step and it’s all over? The young girl who we know nothing about is living her worst nightmare. Maybe yours too. The film leaves you clenching your fists tight without any dialouges or creepy dolls. Meant to be a concept horror film, the director through masterful visuals and sound design with the support of actress Laura Jane Turner gives you a dizzying experience. The feeling of getting stuck in a bottomless chasm with no hope of coming out of it and seeing the fated end, yet trying to break out of it is put precisely into visuals giving you all the goosebumps.
After a successful festival run, ‘Curve’ made its online debut 2 months ago. Watch the film on Vimeo.
