Having trained under virtuosos from the Gwalior and Kirana gharanas, she has the rare feat of winning accolades at both, traditional and mainstream performance platforms.

Ronkini will be accompanied by Ashish Ragvani on the tabla, and Deepak Marathe will take over the harmonium.

About the Artists:

Ronkini Gupta

Best known for her pitch-perfect voice, unique vocal modulation, and nuanced rendition comprising of fast-paced "sargams" and gently gliding "bol alaaps" and "boltaans" with a dash of "laykaari" thrown in Ronkini Gupta's singing makes for a deadly combination of impressive and expressive singing.

She strikes a magnificent balance of a traditional yet contemporary "Khayaal Gayiki" - the most powerful form of Indian Classical Music.

She composes her own bandishes which are demonstrative of her unique thought process and her varied learning experiences from very accomplished gurus -Shri Chandrakant Apteji, Ustad Dilshad Khan, Ustad Abdul Rashid Khan, and Ustad Arshad Ali Khan. 

She has performed in various prestigious festivals like:

1.Sawai Gandharv-Pune, 

2.Saptak- Ahmedabad ,

3.Maharana Kumbha - Udaipur,

4.Jan Fest - Mumbai, Udayswar at Prithvi theatre 

5.Balgandharv Mahotsav in Jalgaon 

6.Pt. jitendra Abhisheki Mahotsav- Goa,

to name a few. 

Formerly she has also been the winner of Zee TV Saregamapa World Series 2004 and has gained popular recognition for two consecutive Filmfare nominations in 2018 and 2019 for her chartbusters "Rafu" from Tumhari Sulu and "Chaav Laaga" from the film Sui Dhaaga. 

She will be accompanied by 

Tabla - Shri Ashish Ragwani - A young dynamic exponent of Tabla who has had varied experience accompanying some of the best artists in the country like Pt Hari Prasad Chaurasia, Hariharan saab, Anup Jalota ji, Ashwin Srinivasan ji, Chirag Katti ji, Ravi Chary ji to name a few. 

Harmonium- Shri Deepak Marathe - A very accomplished harmonium player who has accompanied very fine vocalists like Hariharan saab, Pt Jayteerth Mevundi ji, Gayatri Asokan ji, Shilpa Rao to name a few.
