Rap music undeniably one of the most popular music genres. However, Kerala being open to all progressive art, is yet to recognize rappers compared to other parts of the country until Fejo established himself in the heart of music lovers with his very successful blend of rhyme and rhythm which is very hard to achieve while rapping in malayalam language.

His Malayalam raps have been popular in the YouTube since 2013. But his big break was working in a music video with rapper Raftaar and actor Varun Dhawan, in one of the largest hip-hop dance festivals in India. Besides, Fejo enjoys millions of followers and viewers in the social media as well. After watching Fejo’s YouTube videos composer Sushin Syam offered him the chance to sing in the movie 'Maradona'. The rap song ‘Aparada Panka’ from 'Maradona' became super hit and Fejo continued his winning streak in 'Ranam' as well. His song from 'Athiran' too has grabbed attention of music lovers.

Rap, widely hailed as the genre of the downtrodden, is used as a means to bring forth their voices and issues to the mainstream. So, Fejo always chooses socially relevant subjects while composing a rap. Though many companies have approached to sponsor him on YouTube Fejo hasn’t shown interest in it yet. He hasn’t rapped for private companies either. Besides doing amazing work in movies, Fejo wishes to create a unique musical trend to strengthen the independent Malayalam music industry as well.
