About The Artists

Jesse Harris

Based in New York, Jesse Harris is a Grammy Award winning songwriter, singer, guitarist and producer of artists from all over the world. In 2003, Jesse received the Grammy Award for Song Of The Year for Norah Jones’ breakout hit “Don’t Know Why,” from her debut album, Come Away With Me, which has sold over 20 million copies worldwide. Jesse Harris also composed the music score for Ethan Hawke’s Movie, The Hottest State, named one of "The Top 10 CDs of 2007" by the New York Daily News.

N/UM

Based in New York, N/UM is a trio composed of 5 time Grammy Award winning mastering engineer and producer Jeremy Loucas, guitarist of world renowned rap group Residente (Calle 13) Elias Meister and Danish multi instrumentalist and producer Emil Bovbjerg. The three, having recorded and performed together in different formations over the past decade, have emerged as a solid musical unit under N/UM, capable of capturing major dance floors while bringing the unique immediacy and spontaneity of pure, free improvization to places where it is rarely heard: festivals, nightclubs and underground warehouse-parties.

Exhibition

In 2017, Hammarsing hailing from Shillong, Meghalaya founded Exhibition which is based out of New York. The first album Last Dance, under his solo project Exhibition, would not only be released on Casablancas' Cult Recoesa, but make its first impression with "No One There," featuring The Strokes front-man on vocals. Co-produced, mixed and mastered by Grammy-Award winning engineer Jeremy Loucas, Last Dance is a four-track collection that has more to it than just a star vocalist's name in the credits. Hammarsing and his band–bassist Jordan Brooks and drummer Jeremy Gustin, both part of Hammond Jr's band as well–work out a sound that reaches out to fans of psych rock, new wave and punk.

DJ SA

DJ SA is India's premier HipHop/Trap DJ, voted 'India's best Hip-Hop DJ' at the inaugural VH1 MyFav Awards. In the past, Sa has taken hip-hop music to a whole new level in the country. Having a key role in promoting hip-hop/trap music, DJ Sa can be seen performing regularly at clubs all around the country. Opening for the likes of Akon, Charmillionaire, Kardinal Ofishall, Sean Kingston, Snoop Dogg (Lion), MIMS and DJ Green Lantern, Dj Sa collaborates with Universal Music to promote all their hip hop albums across India.

Khasi Bloodz feat. Big Ri & Meba Ofilia - Shillong's Top Young Act

Khasi Bloodz is a Shillong based rap group formed in 2009. Hailing from Shillong, Big-Ri is one of the founders of hip-hop group Khasi Bloodz. Meba Ofilia has been stirring quite a buzz with her style, which is rooted in hip-hop and RnB. Big-Ri and Meba Ofilia won the 2018 MTV EMA’s for Best Indian Act.

Blue Temptation

Formed back in 2014 Shillong based band ‘Blue Temptation’ plays a brand of blues that speaks about the many situations and circumstances that surrounds our day to day lives. The core trio consists of seasoned sessionists Shepherd Najiar, Greg Nongrum and Nathan Nongrum. Heavily influenced by the emerging scene in the country and in Shillong, blue temptation’s sound has a mixture of modern elements and a lot of that hard-working man’s blues.

DJ Sev

Sev is a part of an emerging new breed of young artists that are sweeping the Indian dance music scene. At just 20, he has been jet setting between playing at the biggest venues in East of India to leading events like the Sunburn Reload & Submerge BIG Wknd. An in-depth understanding of crowds, dance floors and electronic music have made him one of the most sought after warm-up DJs in the region.

DJ Shaan

Innovative with his sound, the upbeat house and techno music core in DJ Shaan is nothing short of first-class making a mark with his deep, techy notions. Hailing from the North-eastern part in India (Shillong), the underground momentum travels far and wide. Behind the decks, Shaan has made his sound well heard at the hills across Northeast and the rest of India.

DJ Arpan

With experience of 7 years, DJ Arpan has climbed his way to the upper reaches of success in a rather enviable time. “My style usually varies from some groovy house music to a bit of super pounding techno,” adds this powerhouse of talent. As a DJ, he has also shared the stage with a few international heavyweights like Boris Brejcha, John OO Fleming, GuyJ, Guy Mantzur, Cid Inc and Blondish to name a few.
