Celebrate 36 years of Pancham Vaidic!

Commemorate the birth anniversary of the founding father of the group and the doyen of Indian theatre, Shri Sombhu Mitra this August at Pancham Vaidic Theatre Festival.

A noted theatre group of West Bengal, led by Smt. Saoli Mitra, the only child of Shri Sombhu Mitra and Smt Tripti Mitra, is coming back to the Academy of Fine Arts in Kolkata this month. Bringing in one new play, Sita Katha (play reading by the thespian herself) and five of their most popular plays, the 36th year Pancham Vaidic will be proud to hold their performances in this prestigious festival.

All the existing plays have been liked and adored by the Bengali intelligentsia and have been recognised as a document which talks about the present socio-economy of the environment that we are a part of.
