Parasailing is a popular aero sport among youngsters, adventure enthusiasts as well as office-goers. Parasailing or parascending is a recreational activity where a person glides through the air attached to a specially designed parachute, known as a parasail while being towed by a vehicle. The fun part is the truly magical aerial view and the momentary sense of flying up in the air. The flight distance can go up to 1 kilometre. Duration depends on weather conditions(wind speed and direction) and the body weight of the participant. The activity is suitable for beginners as well as experienced. Before the start of the activity, the experienced guides and instructors will introduce you to the safety measures and instructions about flying.
We Compass Adventure will help you to fulfil that dream with utmost safety. Come and experience yourself. Free parking available.

Parasailing or parascending, is a recreational activity where a person is towed behind a vehicle while attached to a specially designed parachute, known as a parasail.
How high up will I go?
You will fly in the range of 50 to 150 feet above the ground.
Can I use my camera while I'm up in the air?
While camera is not allowed at the airport, you can take a mobile phone with you, but at your own discretion. We are not responsible for damaged or lost equipment.
Do I need any prior experience or be physically fit to take part in the activity?
No, you only need to meet the specified height and weight requirements. No skills or experience is necessary. Just sit back, relax and let our experienced crew do the work to get you air born. The activity is not recommended for pregnant women, people with heart/ respiratory problem and claustrophobia.
How safe is this activity?
Parasailing accidents are extremely rare. Your safety is our first priority! We have flown thousands and thousands of people and have maintained a 100% safety record since we started. All of our pilots are very experienced. The activity adheres to international safety standards.
Is parasailing scary?
Actually, its quite the opposite. Parasailing is very serene and peaceful. Because the take-offs and landings are slow and gradual, you dont have to worry about having a frightening experience. The obvious exception would be persons with a strong fear of heights, in which case flying from a parachute might not be recommended!
Can I fly with someone?
Absolutely! In fact, we think it's best to share in the spectacular views with someone by your side. Most people in most conditions can sit side by side (tandem). Restrictions apply. When asked, please be sure to tell the crew your correct weight. Weather, wind, and weight of each flyer are all factors that play a part in the pilot's decision on single or tandem. Generally the total combined weight should be within 120 kgs. Depending on wind conditions total maximum weight can be upto 140 Kgs, however, actual cut off weight limit will be decided at the time of conduct.
Do I have to hold on?
No! The crew will ask you to hold on for takeoff and landing, but you are not holding yourself in the chute. The harness does all the work for you! Just sit back and relax.
Is there an age requirement?
Yes. Generally, child below 05 yrs age may not be able to do due to minimum weight and height requirement, although participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their liability waiver prior to parasailing. If the flyer is less than minimum weight, they will simply fly tandem with another parasailer, with their combined weight not to exceed roughly 120 kg. Weight requirements may change on any given day or time due to the wind conditions. Again, safety is always our number one priority.
Do you accept walk-ups? / Do you accept reservations?
Reservations are almost always necessary. Our time slots fill up early, so book your trip early so you don't have to wait for your turn. Reserved clients gets priority over walk-ups.
What happens if the tow line breaks?
We inspect, trim, and maintain the tow line daily in order to prevent breaks, and if operating in the recommended wind limits the tow line should be strong enough to support far more stress than it is subjected to. In more than fifteen years we has never had or seen a line break during parasailing. Nevertheless, in the unlikely event that this happens, the participants will slowly and safely descend into the ground.
The total duration of the activity is Approx 10 minutes and is inclusive of briefing by instructors, strapping on and off of safety harness, and actual flying time. Actual flying distance(Ground Length) is 600m to 800m & duration will be between 1 -2 minutes depending on wind velocity and body weight. The duration of flight depends on the total runway length in wind direction.
The actual flying time might be reduced, subject to the instructor's judgement, in case of bad weather or technical difficulties. No refund will be provided in such cases.
In the event of any unforeseen weather circumstances/restrictions by Air traffic Control, the organiser reserves the right to cancel the activity.
Upon landing, you will be met by an instructor to help you unstrap the parachute. The activity is not recommended for pregnant women, people with heart/ respiratory/ sinus problem/ claustrophobia/Back or Neck injuries or any other physical injury due to safety reasons. Please inform the crew/instructor if you have any medical problem.
Passengers under the influence of alcohol or other mood altering substances will not be allowed to fly.
There may be a short waiting period depending on the number of flyers in queue that day. Wear comfortable dress( jeans etc) and sports shoes. Wearing of shoes is compulsory.
Ladies are required to wear salwar or jeans / track suits. The activity cannot be done in a sari because of safety reasons.
All no call / no shows for reservations will be charged the full ticket price. Please note this activity is subjected to weather condition. If he weather gets too windy/rainy which is not favourable /safe for parasailing, we will rescheduled to yconvenient weekendkend/ date on which activity is scheduled.
