Yoga empowers children and teaches them the skills to better care for their bodies, access and interpret feelings, manage stress, solve problems, and connect to others. While the physical benefits—improving flexibility, strength and coordination—are certainly part of its charm, yoga is increasingly used as a relaxation technique to help anxious kids combat the stresses of everyday life. The benefits of exploring the world of yoga extend to the entire family and can be a bonding step towards increased mental and physical health.

Special Instructions:

1. Both the parent and kid should wear comfortable active wear
2. Don’t eat anything for at least an hour before the workshop

Sabrina Merchant is a certified kids yoga trainer (200 hrs) by the YOGA Institute (Mumbai). Qualified Level 1 Trainer by the Government of India conducted Ayush Exam. Her classes are a reflection of her thoughts and is conducted through the means of guided visualization and storytelling, making it exciting for the kids! Her urge to pass on her decade long yoga practice to her daughter made her start Li’l Yogis - a popular kids yoga program in the suburbs of Bandra.
