The loss of a pet can be just as devastating as that of a family member, partner, or friend. And while it can be minimized by those who don’t understand, the fact is that the bond between humans and their pets is very deep. The lack of empathy and understanding from others can be isolating and painful.

In collaboration with Hope and Cope, we welcome you to a safe space for pet parents and animal lovers to share, listen, cope, and heal. 

Hope and Cope is a team of therapists with a lot of feelings. They hope to use this page to provide awareness, comfort, and acceptance. They envision this space to be an anchor of safety for all voices. They are a team of 5 counseling psychologists all with Masters in Clinical/Counseling Psychology. 

This session will be conducted by Niyati Gala, a counseling psychologist.
