Fighting Against COVID

COVID-19 has changed our lives in many ways, some of us more than the others. There are many out there who do not have access to oxygen, beds, medicines and food.

Film Fanatic Lot, in a bid to help out, is doing what it does best: celebrate pop culture, by conducting a mega quiz on all things pop culture.

All proceeds generated by this event will be donates to the organisation 'Meals for My Makkal'.

About 'Meals For My Makkal'

Meals For My Makkal is an initiative started by 23 year-old Abhinandan Surana. After a lifelong desire to help people in need, Surana started the initiative during the second wave of COVID-19. Starting with serving food for free to people in need in his colony, the initiative has grown beyond recognition. It serves more than a 1000 people a day now: the free food is funded by the few who choose to pay and/or donate. In the last 36 days, it has successfully provided over 10,000 meals. Every single team that registers will help in providing food to one single person. The Quiz

Every team will have 2 members.

The event will take place on 19th June 2020, at 5 PM.

The registration fee is for a TEAM, as in, the payment allows TWO members to participate.

The quiz will take place over an accesible video conferencing platform such as Zoom/Google Meet.

Exact structure and rules for the quiz will be communicated prior to the event.

There is no age or any other limit for participation.

People not participating will be allowed to watch a live stream of the event on YouTube.

You can choose to donate and not participate in the quiz! Your names will be featured specially in the quiz and on our page.
