About Cliszma DaCosta

Cliszma DaCosta, is Goas first POUNDPRO and, amongst the first few pros in India. She got her pound certification from Edinburgh, Scotland in the United Kingdom in 2017. She holds a degree in (Psychology) and is Certified as Dance movement therapeutic practitioner from TATA Institute of Social Sciences (Mumbai).

As part of Cliszmas Fitness Squad that functions in GOA, Cliszma conducts Zumba and Pound fitness community, classes. With Cliszmas Fitness Squad she wants to reach out to improve mental and physical health in Goa and India with a holistic approach to fitness. Being a young multifaceted movement professional, she is Interested in and passionate about dance movement, singing, acting and miming. She has also acquired a gamut of training in dance styles such as Bharatanatyam, Jazz, Contemporary and Ballet over the span of nine years.

With a zest to serve something bigger than her, she has started Dance Heals, where she and co-facilitator Dr. Sujata Samant use Dance Movement Therapy as a tool with corporates, children with special needs and other target groups. Dance Heals has conducted sessions for various settings like corporates, professional colleges, and academic institutions, hospitals, schools, art spaces, and other private setups. She has facilitated various corporate training for companies like CISCO, BACARDI, etc. for international participants.

She is on the panel of corporate trainers at The Learning Curve, a corporate training company based in Mumbai. Cliszma has also acted in the National award winning Konkani movie Nacho-ia-Kumpasar
