The Haryana Steelers are one of the newest chapters in the sporting revolution of Kabaddi in India. Under the ownership of JSW Sports, a pioneering force in Indian sports, the franchise embodies the spirit of resilience, strength, and tenacity. Situated in the heartland of Kabaddi talent, Haryana, the Steelers are committed to breaking conventions and rewriting history, following in the footsteps of their illustrious promoters who have nurtured some of India's finest athletes over the past decade.
In their debut season, the Haryana Steelers showcased their mettle, securing a remarkable third-place finish by winning 13 out of 22 matches. Though facing a setback in the subsequent season, they demonstrated their resilience in the 2019 edition by storming into the playoffs. Coached by the seasoned Manpreet Singh, the Steelers are gearing up for the Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 with unwavering determination, aspiring to clinch their first championship title and etch their name in the annals of Kabaddi history. With a legacy rooted in strength and a commitment to excellence, they continue to captivate fans and inspire athletes on their journey to Kabaddi glory. Pro Kabaddi is the popular franchise-based tournament for kabaddi, India’s own sport. Since its inauguration in 2014, the tournament has been mesmerizing audiences across the country. Pro Kabaddi has 12 franchises based in the following 11 states: Maharashtra, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Gujarat, West Bengal, Bihar, and Andhra Pradesh. The main aims of the tournament are promoting the game of kabaddi, nurturing new talent and giving it a global platform.
