- Calicut Heroes – Built around American Olympian Paul Lotman and the heartthrob of Indian Volleyball, Jerome Vinith, Beacon Sports owned Calicut Heroes is a franchise that will draw inspiration from the passion for the game in the city. That means they have bottomless reserves of passion to draw from.
- Chennai Spartans – A city that has a successful team in every sports league of the country, Chennai would be looking for nothing less than the title in Season 1 of Pro Volleyball League. And much to the city’s joy, with Icon player Akhin GS having the support of veterans like Naveen Raja Jacob and Vibin George, they look every bit a contender.
- Black Hawks Hyderabad – The Hawks have taken to the skies with some big names to boast about in Season 1. The team owned by Agile Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. have American Carson Clark in their lineup along with big auction buys like Muthu Samy, Aswal Rai, and Rohit Kumar to boot.
- Kochi Blue Spikers – Another team from Kerala and no lack of passion for Volleyball here either. And the passion will only increase when they are represented by the two stars of Indian Volleyball in February – Mohan Ukkrapandian and Prabhagaran S. Not to forget, their draft pick was two-time Olympic medalist David Lee.
- U Mumba Volley– After having taken Indian Kabaddi by storm, the U Sports owned Mumbai team looks set to stamp its authority on the newest franchise-based league in India as well. And they have packed their team with the perfect ammunition for that with two Icon players in Dipesh Sinha and Vinit Kumar and Tomislav Coskovic forming the core of the team.
