Celebrate International Women’s Day with a Harmonious Ode to Iconic South Asian Women Artists at the Royal Opera House, Mumbai
On the occasion of International Women's Day 2024, Royal Opera House, Mumbai in association with Avid Learning presents Śraddhā: Celebrating Iconic Women Artists from South Asia, a mesmerizing homage to Indian classical and semi-classical pieces to cherish the legacies of the influential artists whose extraordinary creativity and artistry enriched the musical heritage.
A stellar ensemble featuring Isheeta Chakrvarty on vocals accompanied by the talents of Amandeep Singh on guitars, Ralph Menezes on bass, Vaibhav Wavikar on percussions and Nastya Saraswati on violin, sax & flute with Swarupa Ananth joining as a guest artist; promises a unique musical experience. In addition to honoring the musical maestros and their timeless classics, the band will also perform improvisations of their original compositions through the lens of contemporary musical expressions. Music aficionados will experience an immersive blend of treasured melodies of yesteryears with the vibrant creativity of the present, presenting a musical narrative that is both nostalgic and refreshingly relevant for the contemporary era.

- Wheelchair access for ticket holders is available only for Royal Stalls (ground level). Please contact the Box Office at +91 22 2366 8888 for the same.
- The venue does not have elevators to access Dress Circle (1st level at 37 steps from Royal Stalls) and Grand Balcony (2nd level at 78 steps from Royal Stalls).
- Few seats in the Grand Balcony (on either sides) have restricted view of the stage.
- Try to reach the venue 15 minutes prior to the show.
- We do not have parking at the venue, please plan your travel accordingly.
- Food, beverages and eatable items are not allowed inside the auditorium.
