About

The Rainbow Lit Fest – Queer And Inclusive, seeks to be inclusive, bringing together different identities and sections of society to explore common ground. The hope is that ultimately we collectively stitch together more informed narratives about diversity. Sitting pretty much at the intersections of alternative and mainstream, the Fest is a mix of different forms of expression such as prose, poetry, art, music, dance, films, talks and discussions. The languages in use will be English, Hindi and Urdu.

The Lit Fest is headlined by some of the most brilliant authors, scriptwriters, filmmakers and thinkers besides musicians and artists. They speakers include Devdutt Pattanaik, Shubha Mudgal, Saleem Kidwai, Saif Mahmood, Tanuja Chandra, Parmesh Sahani, Nemat Sadat and Sandip Roy. The performers include the Traditional Nizami Brothers, The Original Knock Offs among others. There is a puppet show by the globally acclaimed Varun Narain and a Mushaira chaired by the legendary, Pervaiz Alam.

There is also a child and parent fun session called The Drag Story Session.
