About the Event
Repertwahr - India’s Most Unique Performing Arts Festival came into existence in 2009 because of our passion for theatre. It has been our constant endeavour to present the best shows and the most talented artists from across the country, and we have been fortunate enough to do the same, in front of an equally appreciative audience.
A small theatre festival has slowly blossomed into India's Most Unique Performing Arts Festival, including Theatre, Music, Stand-up Comedy, Literature, and Food Bazaar.
In its 11th edition, the festival is poised to blow away its own benchmarks again.

Artist
Trained in classical Hindustani music and with an unending love for unique soundscapes, Pune-based DJ RITVIZ is a young singer and dance music producer. His most recent and popular body of original work is a 4-track EP titled Baaraat in collaboration with Nucleya. His music is bass heavy, and rich in eastern sounds owing to his training in Hindustani classical music. With music that fits right into any and every mood, he’s engaged audiences with his distinctive music making style. RITVIZ is set for an album launch tour for ‘Mimmi’, his debut full length album, come along and sing every lyric because it’s going to be epic!
Zakir Khan is one of the the brightest comedians in the country, as proven by the massive success of his recent Haq Se Single tour, and the Amazon Prime special of the same name. Zakir created waves in 2016 with his appearance on AIB Diwas, as he swiftly went on to become what AIB founder Tanmay Bhat described as “The biggest stand-up comedy act in India. Period”. A writer by profession, this 'Confused Desi' serves his take on modern India, with a hard-to-resist style of humour that'll have you nodding your heads and clapping as you relate to everything he says. His work includes comedy specials like Kaksha Gyarvi; an acclaimed Amazon Prime series, Chacha Vidhayak Hai Hamare and a podcast, ‘Umeed’. Zakir is indeed a unique act, and it's easy to see why.
Can one ever get enough of Parvaaz’s music? Never. The Bangalore-based band plays a mix of acoustic and sufi-rock music, and features Khalid Ahamed on vocals, Mir KashifIqbal on guitars, Fidel D'Souza on the bass and SachinBanandur on drums and percussions. Formed in early 2010 by Kashif, Khalid and Neil, the band went through a few line-up changes to reach its current one (and their current sound), and released its debut EP Behosh in 2013. The band went one to release more singles, like “KhufiyaDastaan”, and their second record, Baran in 2014. After playing at all imaginable venues and festivals in India, and becoming one of the most in-demand acts in the country, the band is currently touring Northern America.
Remember the Pretentious Movie Reviews on YouTube? Good. Now forget them. That was just a warm-up to comic Biswa Kalyan Rath’s full comedy prowess. The comedian has moved up a few notches since his YouTube glory days and is using his IIT-Kharagpur education, along with his knowledge of mathematics, language and life, to make jokes that have never been cracked before. He recently released his comedy special, Biswa Mast Aadmi, to rave reviews, with which he toured every pocket in India. Soon after, he released 'Laakhon Mein Ek', a surprisingly dark web-series on the IIT coaching industry. One of the most-followed comedians in the country, Biswa’s angry rant-styled delivery and his unique perspective turns every topic he touches into comedy gold, making audiences crack up instantly. The stand-up comedian, writer, actor, size-zero enthusiast and blogger, has done countless shows across all sorts of venues in the country and has managed to garner 14+ million views on YouTube. Currently, Biswa is part of a panel of judges in Comicstaan, a nine episode series, to mentor and find India’s next comic sensation! Need we say more?
Q: Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
A: Sorry, but you won’t be able to transfer your tickets. So plan ahead and you’ll be fine.
Q: Can I upgrade my ticket after booking?
A: Yes
Q: What time do the gates open?
A: The gates open at 12 PM.
Q: What are the timings of the shows?
A: Literature- 2PM to 8PM
Stand up- 5PM to 6PM (Gates open at 4pm)
Theatre play - 6PM to 8PM
Music- 8PM to 10PM (Gates open at 7pm)
Q: Is re-entry into the venue allowed?
A: Yes
Q: What is the age limit to attend the event?
A: This festival is open to people of all ages, but children aged 5 years and above will need a ticket to enter. All children under the age of 18, will need to be accompanied by an adult guardian at all times. Both the child and the guardian must have the same category of ticket. We would also recommend children use hearing protection so that they can groove to the music no matter where you take them.
Q: Do I have to bring a printout of my festival ticket?
A: Printout of ticket is NOT necessary. As long as the folks at box office/entry point can see and validate your ticket on your mobile phone, you will be allowed to enter. There may be limited mobile network at the venue, so remember to save the ticket on your phone. You can also show the SMS sent by Paytm Insider at the time of ticket purchase.
Q: What kind of ID do I need?
A: To enter Repertwahr Festival, you must present identification. So please carry a valid, government-issued ID, such as a passport, Aadhar Card, PAN Card, or driver’s license.
Q: Will food be available at the venue?
A: Yes
Q: Is alcohol available at the event?
A: Yup, but you’ll only be served alcohol if you’re above the legal drinking age! (It’s probably one of the few perks of growing older). And if you do drink, be good ok? Handle the liquor well, so that everyone can have a fantastic time!
Q: Can I smoke? Can I get high?
A: Repertwahr Festival is a drug-free festival. Anyone found at the festival with any illegal substances will be removed immediately.
Q: Are pets allowed?
A: Yes. We take inclusivity seriously. Get your doggos and cattos also. We’re a pet-friendly festival, so the more the merrier! But do make sure they’re habituated to loud noises & crowds in public space. We want them to have just as much fun as you!
Q: Is there an official hashtag?

Q: Do you have medical assistance on the ground?
A: Yes, there will be on-ground medical professionals as well as an ambulance on standby.

Q: Is photography allowed?
A: DSLR & another professional camera are not allowed.
Q: Are there any restrictions on permissible items in the venue apart from those mentioned in T&C's?
