About the Event

Rider Mania is a 3 day annual motorcycling festival where Royal Enfield owners and enthusiasts come together in Goa for an action packed 3 days of Music, Mates and Motorcycling. It is also the largest gathering of Royal Enfield riders anywhere in the world.

Rider Mania 2018 will take place in Goa from 16th to 18th November. It is a melting pot of Royal Enfield owners and enthusiasts and an amalgamation of experience and youthful vigour. Many enthusiasts plan their Riding calendar around Rider Mania as its the best place to meet old friends, make new ones, share stories and experiences and plan new adventures.

The three day festival has a plethora of events designed to test the riders skills with the motorcycle or off it, while having a lot of fun during the process. Participants can take part in the events or cheer their mates or just kick back and soak in the Royal Enfield vibe. During the day, riders take part in a bunch of motorcycling events, competitions and talks while the evenings are lined up with top artists putting up a show and the riders letting their hair down.

Artist Line up
Paraphoniks : Paraphoniks, which began as Shatrunjai Dewan and Sid Shirodkar exploring their shared love of modular synthesizers, is amongst a handful of independent artists in the country to have broken through the increasing synthesizer craze.
In 2016, the duo promoted their critically acclaimed release, ‘Yarns,’ with a string of audacious surround-sound shows that featured their music in an 8.1-channel incarnation. Since then, Paraphoniks has continued to evolve into an increasingly genre-agnostic project, embracing various forms of electronic music with a unique sense of sonic experimentation.

RITVIZ : RITVIZ is a Pune (IN) based 21-year-old DJ, singer, composer and Hindustani dance music producer. His music is bass heavy, and rich in eastern sounds owing to his training as a Hindustani classical musician since the age of 6. He was recently announced the winner of Bacardi House Party Sessions India, where his latest single “Udd Gaye“ was handpicked & released by AIB & Nucleya. An instant hit, the music video reached 1 million views in just a week after its release & the track has been one of the highest streamed tracked on Saavn & iTunes ever since.

Divine : One of the premier hip-hop acts in India, Vivian aka Divine is an award winning rapper & hip-hop artist from the streets of Mumbai. As the vanguard of India’s underground music scene, his ability to seamlessly fuse street Hindi rap and slang with international hip-hop beats makes his live shows power packed.

MOSKO : MOSKO is an avant-garde band from Delhi comprising of Kavya Trehan, Moses Koul, Suyash Gabriel and Amar Pandey. Deriving influences from topics and subjects as diverse as manga and anime to tea, independent drama and films, they are an evocative cinematic experience with a hint of ballroom waltz, emotional subversion and copious amounts of noir. Time has certainly influenced their music towards a more grime, dance, energy and performance oriented band.

Grain : One of the stalwarts of the Indian electronic music scene, Gaurav Raina is better known for his role as one-half of India’s biggest electronica pioneers, The Midival Punditz. Now, also known for his latest solo project, Grain, he’s helping re-define the electronic music scene in India. Grain has been unleashing his new brand of music at live gigs and intimate listening sessions. The music is an exploration into lyrical songwriting, gritty textures and deeper sounds with a universal accent and his collabs include Karsh Kale, Anoushka Shankar, Monica Dogra, Ankur Tewari, Brooklyn Shanti, Talia Bentson, Sid Basrur and Kavya Trehan.

Azadi Records : Azadi Records : Azadi Records is a Delhi-based independent record label. Established in 2017, the label seeks to provide a platform for South Asian artists to release forward-thinking, conscious music that critically engages with (and comments on) the pressing issues of our time. Our aim is not to be underground, but to highlight pertinent stories that are often ignored by the mainstream, says Azadi when asked about what is the theme behind their Music.

Su Real : Su Real represents this new breed of Indian music producers who create and curate for the modern Indian dance floor. That penchant for going against the grain is what led to his winning the 2018 launch edition of Amazon Prime Video’s original show ‘The Remix’ – a competition between music producers - that is broadcast in over 200 countries.
Su Real has strived to create a movement out of the growing ranks of Desi Bass producers in India and abroad.

Maatibaani: A collaborative duo of Nirali Kartik and Kartik Shah, Maatibaani is what happens when folk meets contemporary.
From writing amazing songs featuring lyrics and verses of Kabir, BullehShah, Mirabai and more, their songs speak to the Indian diaspora of both India and beyond.
Their videos are equally compelling, featuring collaborations with some of the most unique and unknown talents from across the globe, making them some of the hottest talents who write original music and have a solid subscriber base on their digital channels.

INDIAN OCEAN : A contemporary fusion music band with jazz laced rhythms. Formed in the early 90's Indian Ocean has been one of the spearheads of the Indian Rock Scene. Their unique sound of Contemporary Rock mixed with classical, jazz and fusion have earned them a cult following. Their band has managed to maintain this inimitable sound in all their albums and have attained some rave reviews from the critics. Some of the themes of their songs are sufism, environmentalism and mythology. Definitely exclusive in what they do, Indian Ocean have toured all over India and played all across the globe.

Kamakshi Khanna: A Delhi Based Singer/Songwriter who believes she is an old soul, Kamakshi Khanna is an effervescent voice that brings life to experiences and stories through her songs. Her work ranges from singing in A capella choirs to being one of the top six contestants on India’s first English singing reality show, The Stage (Season 1). Her releases include an EP(Much Mellow) in 2015 and an album (Cakewalk) in 2017. Kamakshi Khanna is a creator of raw, organic songs and tunes that emerge from an intricate mixture of her experiences andepiphanies. A voice that goes through various styles, including but not limited to Rhythm and Blues, Soul, Pop and Ballads. Lyrically, her songs talk about her interactions and tiffs with life and the things that make her appreciate the present.

BLOT: Gaurav Malaker is a producer and DJ based out of Delhi, India, best known for his work as BLOT!. With a full length album released on Universal Music in 2013 as well as a more recent release on iconic label Diynamic Music, BLOT! is one of India’s most sought-out producers, and performs at club and festival dates all over the country to an extremely loyal fan base, which is rivalled by few. BLOT!’s club act evolves continually. The producer has a hands-on approach to his performances, and his current preoccupation with warm, analogue sounds and classic synthesizers have resulted in a slew of recent productions that are deep and delicate in equal measure, warm tracks with delicious chords and big basslines that are destined for the dancefloor, but at home anywhere.

Dhruv Visvanath: Dhruv launched his first EP "Chronicles" in 2011, a collection of soulful finger-style/ percussive tracks dedicated to his father. The following years saw him grow as a musician- both in terms of technique and his fan-base. He was nominated for a TOTO award (2012, 2014, 2016), in addition to playing for reputed sound fests like Pune’s Baaja Gaaja, and Delhi’s NH7 Weekender. His latest release, his debut album, Orion, launched on the 19th of September, is an eclectic mix of percussive, electro-acoustic, and hard rock with jumpy riffs, best defined as a labour of love, representing his many avatars as an artist. In late 2016, he undertook the challenging task of touring India with his music, in a tour called The Lost Cause Tour. The journey took him to 17 cities across 6 weeks, traveling over 7000 kilometers. Joined by his childhood buddy Chris, the two travelled to the corners of the country hoping to find bits and pieces of Dhruv's family history, whilst spreading a bit of cheer.

Oceantied: The past year has been abuzz with news from Oceantied, who has been steadily making a mark for himself both internationally as well as in India. From performing at the first Boiler Room session in India to playing at two of the biggest European festivals, Outlook and Dimensions festivals, the solo electronic project started by Ketan Bahirat, Oceantied is a deep-dive into the artist’s sprawling soundscape. Apart from his constant involvement in playing live shows at clubs, venues and festivals around the country - under Oceantied as well as on guitar for ‘Until We Last’ - Ketan Bahirat has co founded 'Dasta' in 2016. Dasta is the coming together of 6 unique artists and creators as a platform pushing culture, collaboration and community in India.

Gaurav Raina: Nearly two decades into his career, Gaurav Raina has achieved nearly every form of success that a musician can hope for. Raina’s debut solo album was called Grey To Silver and released in 2014. The idea behind the entire project is to highlight how we judge art and music based on its level of perfection. That’s where Grey To Silver comes in, it’s seeing beauty in imperfection. Breaking away from the commercial aesthetic of popular EDM genres Raina’s music explores a more melodic and melancholic side of electronica.

Black Jack: David Masilamani or DJ Black Jack as he is commonly known in the Biking Brotherhood is an established MC and DJ hailing from Hyderabad and has been an avid Royal Enfield rider for decades. A hot favorite amongst the riders he has been a regular at Rider Mania since its early days and is known for spinning Retro Tracks bringing back the good ol times for everyone.

Prateek Kuhad: With origins from Jaipur and with successful releases over the past 5 years, Prateek Kuhad is India’s Shining Star in the world of songwriters. He has successfully carved a niche for himself, giving a space for intimate, personal and lyric focused songs where the words lead the narrative. From winning the MTV EMA, iTunes ‘Indie Album of the Year’ for his debut album In Tokens and Charms, and first place in the prestigious International Songwriting Competition to successfully touring the world and selling out auditoriums, he has his eyes well set on the future.
