About Rishabh:

Rishabh is a trained hypnotherapist, an acting coach and the founder of ActingSutra. He has trained actors on a 1:1 basis from the Hindi and Tamil film industry and has also trained actors in groups in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore and via online medium for 6+ years. He combines his study of human behavioural economics and psychology with first principles of acting. His teachings are experiential and helps students with understanding the 4 verticals of camera acting - being natural, real, honest and spontaneous.

About the Workshop:

As promised, this is the follow-up lecture to Vivaan Shah's session by our moderator - Rishabh Mittal - from that day!

This workshop will break myths and make the actor understand how their psychology is working against them. Looking at an actor’s shared space with casting assistants, the script, the director and with themselves from the lens of behavioural psychology and understanding the difference between ‘what actors think’ vs ‘what reality is’. The workshop will cover topics like -

- Why actors shouldn’t practice in front of the mirror

- Ad auditions vs Film auditions - the medium, the expectations and the acting

- Why actors shouldn’t be listening to the casting directors

- The psychology behind getting typecast and how to break it

- Why actors don’t need to party to get work... and more.
