About the Artists
Urooj Ashfaq
Urooj is one of the most sought after young talents, among the new generation of comics taking the scene by the storm. Her first claim to fame was through the TLC show, Queens of Comedy, where she was one of the finalists and a comedy force to reckon with. Urooj has travelled across the country with her stand-up act and performed alongside some of the stalwarts, like Kanan Gill and Kunal Kamra. She has also acted in multiple comedy properties (AIB's If Apps were people, When some is sick sketches). She has recently hosted Comicstaan S2 alongside Abish Mathew and her latest stand-up clip on YouTube has crossed over 5 million views.
Shreeja Chaturvedi
Shreeja Chaturvedi, is a gentle slow comedian, known for her deadpan delivery of jokes. She occasionally also indulges in roasts. Her performances are based on observational humour and focus on everyday challenges. Her comedy also has an impact on audiences, making them laugh while also reflecting.Her path in stand-up comedy began with modest beginnings, winning notoriety through tiny concerts. As success began to come her way, she launched her own YouTube channel “Shreeja Chaturvedi" on March 10, 2020. Her YouTube channel currently has over 2 lakh followers. Her act titled, “I Like Bad Body" debuted in 2021 and instantly became a hit. The video drew the attention of over 3.6 million viewers, and this marked the beginning of her popularity in the comedy sector.
Komorebi
Komorebi is the moniker of New Delhi-based singer-songwriter and electronic artist Tarana Marwah, known for her lush, hypnotic, and otherworldly soundscapes. Komorebi has made her mark on the global stage, performing at renowned festivals like SXSW (US), Focus Wales (UK), NH7 Weekender, Magnetic Fields, and Lollapalooza 2024 in Mumbai. A Spotify 2023 RADAR Artist and Apple UP NEXT Artist, her album The Fall won the Indian Music Diaries’ Album of the Year award. Komorebi has opened for international acts like Khruangbin, HVOB, and Westlife and has been nominated for an MTV Europe Music Award. In addition to her live performances, Komorebi has scored music for major OTT projects including Made in Heaven, Bombay Begums, Modern Love, and the Berlinale 2023-nominated Dahaad. Most recently, she produced the track Bayo for Coke Studio Bharat Season 2, released in August 2024.
