Netrani is one of the Islands off Murudeshwara popular as Scuba diving destinations in Karnataka. The Netrani Islands also known as Pigeon Island is off the Murudeshwara coast. This is an enchanting island with a wild growth of trees and curved rocky formations that shelters numerous pigeons. The island with its corals and clear waters is probably the best snorkelling/ dive sites in India. There are great opportunities for snorkelling; both for beginners to deep-diving experts here. Being a Scuba diving destination in Karnataka there are multiple operators in Murudeshwara who conduct single dives as well as scuba diving courses. Being able to swim like a fish, see them in close view underwater and seeing colourful corals will be an experience to cherish, a perfect adventure for everyone in the family.

Instructions

Get ready for an exciting adventure! The Try Dive is an introduction to the world of scuba diving and the amazing life beneath the sea.

After checking in at the dive center(optional) and receiving an itinerary of the day. A boat ride will take you to the Dive site around 1.5 hoursnaway. On the way there the Instructor will talk about Boat Safety, Dive Safety, Scuba Equipment and Exercises. While you are on the boat you will wear the gear and see how it works.Once we reach the dive location you will enter the water with the assistance of your instructor and practice the exercises on the surface of the water.

This is a One-on-One experience – One instructor per individual. The Instructor will take you on a guided tour by holding your tank and showing you the beautiful life underwater. The dive time is for 45 minutes to a maximum depth of 8-10 meters/40-44 feet.

We recommend eating light before you arrive to avoid feeling uncomfortable due to the boat’s movement. Keep in mind that there will be snacks and water provided on boat. Feel free to wear full length pants or anything can get wet)
