Sonabyss, now in its 32nd edition, is one of oldest college fest of Northeast India and the largest in Arunachal Pradesh. The annular cultural fest of NERIST had seen the likes of Trance Me Campus with Hiz7, Lord of Rocks, Coke Studio with Parvaaz, The Gluttons, Underground Authority, etc., gracing the stage with striking performances in the last few years.

The theme for this edition is- 'Autumnal Symphony'. Just as after surviving the wrath of scorching summer sun, autumn comes with relief and provides to rejuvenate our souls with rest and revivification, the current bonanza of extravagant display of music and culture delves the same objective. Sonabyss has emerged as a platform that provides countless opportunities to the youth for exhibition of talents and skills.

DANCE CLUB

Dance Club provides an opportunity to break the barriers and display the flair and elegance in one’s frame. It offers a creative outlet to express one’s personality in a creative environment. What’s a better way to open up new possibilities, develop a healthy habit and enjoy oneself other than shaking a leg!

PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB

Be it the Burning Monk of Vietnam or the VJ-Day pic, photography has always been a powerful medium of depicting much more than what words could speak. Ability to steal the tint of time, friendship with light and colors and an eye for beauty and reality and handy post production skills are all one needs. This is us, the Photography Club!

MUSIC CLUB

This club thrives to explore and showcase talent and excellence in the field of music. It provides a platform for all kinds of music enthusiasts to unleash their inner artist. One can view it as a launch pad in their musical journey.

HOBBY CLUB

Hobby Club is a very special club whose objective is to promote one’s own passion and exploring hidden talents. There shall be a variety of events which focus on identifying hidden gems in diverse fields. Make way for your imagination and creativity to conquer the infinity.
