bFLAT presents Spencer Maybe (UK) - a rock, blues and country-swing band, fronted by English singer and composer Spencer Maybe.
The band’s explosive and dynamic performances of all original music can be described as a cross between The Beatles, Radiohead, John Lee Hooker and some Johnny Cash. The audience can expect a highly captivating sound and a live act that shuffles between soaring vocals, cinematic electric guitars and an explosive rhythm section. Spencer Maybe is accompanied by Peter Tegner from Sweden who is an award-winning guitar player and composer, Denis Petukhov from Moscow, an acclaimed sessions bass player and BunnyB from New York, an accomplished drummer and percussionist of Indian origin.
The band has just completed their fourth album, Wait And Patience, and will perform at bFLAT to launch the Bangalore leg of their India tour. The album, mainly recorded in Goa and mixed in London, brings together many musicians, each contributing their own special talents to the collective, facilitating a unique sound that has an instant familiarity. "Wait And Patience" has songs that can make an audience think, dance, and even cry.
